Military: The Union military is organized under Union Navy. There is a standing professional force but Union Navy regularly draws on militias and auxiliaries to supplement its forces. The Union Navy cannot be everywhere so we encourage worlds to maintain their own military forces.

Background: Union was created as a reaction to the three great traumas. The Central Committee is the primary governing body of Union and is in its third iteration known as Third Committee. The expansion of Union has been made possible by technological innovations such as Blinkspace gates, the Omninet, and Non-Human Personss which were all developed from the Deimos Event.
